Sharing some Japanese cultural programs taking place this June. Some programs require pre-registration, while Kizuna and Shogi are drop-in programs.


Kengido – Learn Japanese Swordplay

Wagashi Workshop (Ichigo Daifuku)

Kizuna workshops offer a great place to learn and enjoy Japanese arts and crafts in an empathetic and respectful atmosphere, led by artist and educator Yoriko Gillard.

First and third Saturday of the month
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Fee: $5 drop-in / Free for NNMCC Members

Stretch your brain and make friends with the classic Japanese strategy game, led by members of the Canada Shogi Club.
