Tsumami Zaiku Workshop | つまみ細工ワークショップ
Learn the traditional Japanese craft of Tsumami Zaiku with Fumiko Horan, where you will make flowers using small square-cut pieces of cloth!

Learn about Girls' Day, a special celebration in Japan every March.

Find used manga, perfect for the Japanese language learners and anime fans looking to get more of their favourite series! All Manga books are in Japanese and subject to availability.

The Nikkei National Museum gift shop stocks a wide range of hand-picked items from local and international artists and craftspeople, including pottery, clothing, children's toys, origami and small gift items. We also carry the largest selection of Nikkei books in Western Canada, including history, fiction, and children's books.

Engage in the fascinating history of Japanese Canadians. Learn about the first arrivals in 1877, the hardships of the early pioneers, the struggles of the war years, and the need to rebuilding homes and businesses in the 1950s. Listen to the voices of many generations tell their story!
