Administrative assistant will work closely with the core NNMCC team. We are working hard to extend our reach in the community and we need extra support to keep our day to day operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Enter information in volunteer management system accurately
- Create documentation for processes
- Keep the volunteer records up to date
- Help prepare room layouts and schedules for education field trips
- Help with records in the filing cabinet
- Help with creating flyers, mail merges, stuffing labels, and other administrative tasks during special events
Reports to: Volunteer Coordinator

Essential Qualifications and Competencies
- Candidate must maintain the highest level of confidentiality when handling critical documents and information
- Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel) and Google sheets
- Excellent written, verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork and diplomacy skills
Commitment: Flexible schedule, 6 to 9 hours per week, split between 2 to 3 days. Minimum 6 to 8 months of commitment required
