Thank you to everyone who joined us for the New Year’s Calligraphy event on January 6. We were happy to be a part of your New Year celebrations. Special gratitude to Consul General Maruyama Kohei for captivating us with live demonstrations of different calligraphy styles. Gratitude to volunteers who made Kakizome enjoyable for all participants. We wish everyone best of luck with their new year aspirations.
1月6日に行われた書き初めイベントは、200名以上の方が楽しまれました。皆様の新年の目標や抱負が実現することを心より願っております。また、丸山浩平在バンクーバー日本国総領事には書のデモンストレーションをしていただく貴重な機会を頂戴し、「龍」と書かれた掛け軸を披露してくださいました。初めて体験する方にも書道を楽しんでいただけました。お手伝いくださったボランティアの皆様、ありがとうございました。
