Meet Your Instructor: Ally Adachi
We’re thrilled to have Ally Adachi, a talented Japanese Canadian illustrator from Vancouver, BC, lead our Manga Camp. Ally’s deep love for animation and storytelling shines through her work. Her thesis project for OCAD University’s 108th Graduate Exhibition (2023), “Camp,” explored the experiences of Japanese Canadians during the 1940s internment through compelling illustrations. You can learn more about Ally and her work at allyadachi.squarespace.com.
