Operations Coordinator
Brief Description:
The Operations Coordinator assists with the overall logistics and administration of all aspects of NNMCC operations including (but not limited to) rentals & events, maintenance & safety, administration & HR, and general business activities.
Employment Period:
Start of employment: April 2025 (1 year term)
Hours: 9:30 am – 5pm Monday to Friday (with occasional adjustments to accommodate special events).
Salary: $18.90 per hour

Event Assistant
Brief Description:
The Event Assistant will focus on public events and programs, including the Nikkei Matsuri as well as outreach initiatives. As a vital member of the event team, the Event Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive operational and logistical support to ensure the successful execution of events, programs, and outreach efforts.
Employment Period:
May 12 – August 31, 2025 (16 weeks)
Hours: 9:30 am – 5pm Tuesday to Saturday or Wednesday to Sunday (event days)
Salary: $18.00 per hour

Youth Program Coordinator
Brief Description:
This role involves leading and organizing Manga Camp for children, including developing arts and crafts activities, managing supplies, and supervising participants. It also includes assisting with school programs, gallery activities for the Nikkei Matsuri festival, and representing the organization at community events.
Employment Period:
May 12 – Sept 1, 2025 (16 weeks)
Hours: May-June and August: 9:30 am – 5pm Tuesday to Saturday
July: 9am-4:30pm Monday to Friday
+ occasional Sundays / evenings to accommodate programming
Salary: $18.00 per hour
