Grand-niece of Japanese Canadian Baseball Manager Finds Family History at Museum
Eriko Ishikawa, a Japanese illustrator and author, visited to research her grandmother’s life as a Japanese Canadian. She viewed historical artifacts, shared family photos, and connected with her family’s heritage. Her research will be featured in an upcoming picture book, “Bessie’s Story.”
