The ceremony, which will begin promptly at 10:30 AM, will be a poignant tribute to all who have served. This year holds particular significance, as the committee marks the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and the 75th anniversary of the start of the Korean War.

Following the ceremony, attendees are invited to a reception at the Vancouver Rowing Club, where light refreshments will be served. The reception will feature a special presentation by Susan Yatabe titled, “Japanese Canadian Military service in the Second World War and Korean War.” Her talk will highlight the newly updated and expanded Warrior Spirit online exhibit, which details the contributions of Japanese Canadian veterans, available at: https://japanesecanadianveterans.ca/.
