25 Together

The Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre first opened its doors on September 22, 2000 and this year, 2025, marks the 25th anniversary.

Come and explore 25 Together, our special exhibition located at the Gordon & Kyoko Kadota Landing on the second floor. This exhibit features a collection of items and documents from our inaugural days, including the original architectural model of the Centre. You'll also discover photographs showcasing the many dedicated volunteers, donors, sponsors, board members, staff, friends, neighbours, and community members who united to bring the dream of Nikkei Place to life.

We appreciate each and every person throughout the years who helped build a strong and vibrant community. We look forward to the next 25 years.
