The NNMCC Auxiliary volunteer group is requesting donations from the community to help raise funds for Nikkei Centre. With your help, we can raise thousands of dollars that go directly to supporting Nikkei Centre programs and projects. We are accepting gently used Japanese-only items at the reception desk from August 4th to 25th, 2026.
Items We Gratefully Accept:
- New or gently used Japanese dishware and vases
- Kimono and related accessories
- Artwork and home decor
- Kokeshi dolls (in good condition)
Items We Cannot Accept:
- Furniture
- Large electrical appliances
- Large framed artworks
- Japanese display dolls (except kokeshi)
How to Donate
Please drop off your donations at the reception desk August 4th to 25th. Hours are:
- Tuesday – Friday 10AM-6PM
- Saturday & Sunday 10AM-5PM
Join us at Nikke Matsuri on September 5th and 6th at the Otakara Market to shop the amazing items we received at bargain prices! Thank you for your support.
