Imai Ryo

Born in Kyotango City, Kyoto Prefecture, Chef Imai has built a distinguished career specializing in Chinese and home-style Japanese cooking. After training at a long-established Chinese restaurant in Kyoto and expanding his expertise as a food coordinator in Tokyo, he developed a signature style based on his philosophy: “Delicious and Fun for Everyone.”

About the Sake Association of British Columbia: The Sake Association of British Columbia was formally established on October 1st 2013. Their mission is to elevate the status of Sake as a beverage that will be part of daily life for the people of Canada, and to spread Sake culture deep and wide throughout British Columbia.
