Tanabata—Star Festival—temari

According to legend, the Milky Way separates two lovers (represented by the stars Vega and Altair), and they are allowed to meet only once a year. Why not express your Tanabata wish through the Milky Way to the star crossed lovers by making a Temari ball ? Try it out if you are looking for a new hobby or just want to make a beautiful craft. Select from blue, yellow, or red to personalize your creation.

What is temari?

Temari (手まり) is a folk craft originating from Japan around 1300 years ago. Traditionally made in the form of "hand balls" given from parents to children on New Year's Day, they've become a popular and versatile gift item while remaining a refreshing toy for children to play with. (Wikipedia)
