Call for Volunteers: Join the Education Programs Team!

Are you passionate about Japanese culture? Excited to share your skills in origami, furoshiki, or something else? We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our Education Programs team and help facilitate engaging Japanese cultural activities for school trip visitors.

Opportunities include:

  • Origami Workshops: Share the art of paper folding and create origami pieces with students.
  • Furoshiki Demonstrations: Teach the traditional Japanese art of wrapping using furoshiki cloths.
  • Other Japanese cultural activities: Interact with school trip visitors and provide insights into Japanese customs and traditions, such as shodo, kimono, martial arts, and more.

What we’re looking for:

  • Enthusiastic individuals with a passion for Japanese culture.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse groups.
  • Willingness to share knowledge and create a positive learning experience.
